About Creators

Kristen Fraser-Lukanin and Igor Lukanin began skating together in 2000. Together they competed in the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympic Games, 9 World Figure Skating Championships and 9 European Figure Skating Championships. They are 9 time National Champions of Azerbaijan (he 10 time National Champion) and competed on the ISU Grand Prix circuit for 9 consecutive years.  

In addition to their illustrious competitive and performance career, Kristen has been the Director of Figure Skating at Floyd Hall Arena (now MSU Arena) in Little Falls, NJ since 2008 and an International Skating Union (ISU) Technical Specialist in Ice Dance; while Igor has been the Sport Coordinator for the Azerbaijan Figure Federation since 2012.

Igor started coaching skating to figure skaters and hockey players about 20 years ago and Kristen about 16.

Since their retirement from competitive figure skating in 2009, they got heavily involved in heading programs for figure skaters and hockey players from the most basic recreational skater to the most elite level. In addition to training athletes, they also train and monitor coaches in figure skating again from young to experienced professionals both on and off of the ice.
